Museum of Army Flying Christmas Carol Concert

This year was the best Carol Concert I’ve ever been to and it was hosted at the Museum of Army Flying in Middle Wallop. The location itself is stunning. Getting to wander through the museum after hours is a privilege and to be amongst the exhibitions listening to Christmas music is just magical. We were serenaded by the Middle Wallop Military Wives Choir and St John’s Singers from Salisbury. Both complimented each other fantastically and the program was amazing with some nice surprises to get the Audience participating as well. Mince Pies, Mulled Wine, the setting was perfect and with some carols in the mix it was a great evening. Please send any Photography enquiries to kathrynphotography@live.co.uk.

Farmfest

The biggest topic of conversation at Farmfest this year was the weather. It only just brightened up the day or so before the event was due to start and naturally it’s one of those things where you do need a sunny evening in order to get the best out of it. The sunshine, warmth and music served to make the whole evening successful and enjoyable – a fantastic time had by all young and old alike! The bands this year were Faccombe’All and Tractor, both which performed well and kept the Summer mood going throughout the evening. There were various stalls selling cakes and other items. These were accompanied by Parsonage Farm’s very own burgers too. Colonel Grumpy’s Coffee Bus was also in attendance providing some much needed warmth when the sun disappeared.
